Have you considered Nantucket, a small island 30 miles out to sea from the coast of Cape Cod? A former whaling hub, the island is now known for its beautiful cobblestone streets, high-end shopping, and incredibly scenic beaches. Whether you prefer a day on the links at Miacomet Golf Club, surrendering to the sun at Nobadeer Beach, or seeking out a local fishing spot, there’s an abundance of outdoor activities.
Take time to take in the Nantucket Daffodils
While the island may appear small, many enriching experiences await you here. Nantucket is host to many festivals throughout the year. In early spring, the much anticipated Daffodil Fest (see our previous blog post on it here) highlights nature’s wonder on the island. In June, both film and book are celebrated with their own three day festivals. To close the summer out, the celebrated Boston Pops plays a concert each year, benefitting the Nantucket Cottage Hospital. This year’s festivities mark the 25th anniversary of this fantastic collaboration.

Nantucket caters to everyone’s needs, so whether you’re pining for fresh seafood or a hot cup of coffee, there’s something for everyone.
